Orejón's name comes from the way it takes the dried peaches once peeled and cut by hand.
Orejón have been used since the peach was discovered as food for the winter surplus of fruit in the summer.
Each orejon strip equates to a whole peach once dried naturally, retaining all its features except the humidity.
